April 10, 2009 marked the 23rd anniversary of Temecula’s Good Friday “Cross Walk” to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. During the event, participants walked down a main street while taking turns carrying two large wooden crosses. The walk ended at a park where the celebration continued with a local worship band and a short Easter message from a local pastor. This event was sponsored by Student Venture (the high school ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) and many churches.
