First, you have to light the fire under the fry pot. It has to get really hot. Andy was in charge of the fire stick and lit the fire. While that’s going on you need to coat the bird with all the savory flavors of this special day. Allen got to play in the basting liquid and gave the bird lots of “shots” so the inside was a tasty as the outside. Henri’s job was to do the actual frying. Too bad we didn’t get a photo of the finished product -- it was tasty though!
