Canada Day 2009

my layout for the grab bag challenge, I had to use a yellow backround, border all 4 sides, use a fastener, and vellum sorry I don't have any vellum I searched my whole stash!!
yellow paper is from April Mega kit from SO, green paper is from 919 Designs Happy Birthday kit, ribbon tag flower clip all from A Skater Designs Summer Grunge kit, date stamp is from JulieMarie's kit Life Captured.

What a fun day to remember!! Local celebrities! I like your border around the page. An easy way to make your own vellum is to make a rectangle, fill with color, then lower the opacity of the layer (of course, this only works if your program, Creating Keepsakes, uses layers; I'm not familiar with it).
