The text reads: Sunday was started very early in the day while Carlie was sitting in ER waiting to be seen for the stomach flu.
No fun! We finally got home at 3:30 and I think I got 2 or 3 hours of sleep. She was much better the next day.
Just as playful as always. Rob and I were exhausted though. Monday was a day off for Rob and I but Peter decided to
still go to school. This worked out well because Carlie had an appt. at Mary Bridge to get her new orthotics. Of course,
when you get new orthotics, you must get new shoes, so off to Nordstroms we went. She was so proud of her new shoes.
ON Tuesday, Carlie loved playing with her balloon that she got at Nordstroms. The static electricity
from the balloon was making Carlie's hair stand on end. IT was so funny! Wednesday brought some
rocking fun. Peter was acting like he was playing the guitar like a Guitar Hero as we listened to music. Carlie sang along and danced.
Thursday brought a mess! Carlie colored herself with marker and stained her shirt in multiple spots.
She was so proud of herself. Friday was silly time with daddy. He kept flipping Carlie upside
down. Saturday brought sadness. Peter wanted to watch Beauty and the Beast. We put the tape in and the VCR ate the tape. Luckily, it
comes out of the Disney vault in a few months.
