Journaling: ......I’ll delight the audience just like Ryan Bradley does!” This might be what 15 year old Joshua Farris was thinking as he took the silver medal in the Junior Men’s Competition at the U.S. National Figure Skating Competition in Spokane, January 2010. Skating this year to “Stardust” and “Sing, Sing, Sing” for his short program and “Warsaw Concerto” for his long, Farris showed the same humor and technical expertise that Ryan always brings to his skating. And why not? Farris and his family moved to Colorado Springs in 2007 so he could train with Tom Zakrajesik and Betsy Calvin, the same people who coach Ryan. Although Joshua was only 4th after the short program, he rallied and placed first in the long for a second place overall, just .19 points out of first behind Jason Brown.
