This was a case of momentary insanity! I held this little animal and it was so cuddly and soft in it's little pouch. I completely disregarded the fact that this is an opposum! That fact came back to me very quickly when the warden showed off it's tail! EEEK! Big rat!! Can't believe I fell for that cute pink nose! A few weeks ago, my dog had a possum cornered in our yard and when I went to investigate and saw it hissing and bearing it's sharp teeth it made me laugh thinking of my moment of insanity!
