Visiting the newly revamped (and still under construction) Pearl Harbor Memorial, "Valor In The Pacific". Every year I take Tranquilino to pay our respects and this year Mom came to visit and I was able to show her as well. We go on Memorial Day and Dec. 7th. Tranq always places a lei at the Arizona Memorial. Then we talk with the WWII vets and thank them for their services. I hope to instill in Tranq some patriotic pride and try to understand what his daddy and many of his family members have done and sacrificed so that we are able to live the way we do today.
