On Oct 5, 1990 we all flew to Cancun, Mexico for the marriage of Richard and Maureen. The wedding was performed October 9 at 11 am on the ocean front deck by the Justice of the Peace. The Carribean Ocean provided the perfect scenic backdrop to the wedding ceremony. The hotel, along with our travel hostess, helped us with translations, licences and mandatory laboratory testing. They also ordered the flowers and provided the champagne for the wedding toast. Four witnesses were needed, so the hotel provided the other 2 needed witnesses for us. Two other couples from our hometown attended the wedding ceremony.
The bride carried a bouquest of yellow and white daisies, white carnations, green ivy and white and yellow ribbons. Victor and Helene, the groom's parents were the only family members at the ceremony.
