June 2005 is a month we'll never forget. After dropping Aunt Julie off at a friend's house, we were hit by another car. I broke my ankle and you seemed ok at first, just very scared and a bit bruised up. After staying in the hospital one night for observation, we were sent home. But 5 nights later we were back because you were in so much pain. After tests, they decided that your small intestine had been bruised by the seatbelt and 5 inches needed to be removed. You will always carry the scar on your belly, but I will always carry the memory of how you were so brave and back to being you[r] normal goofy self in no time!
