Journalin: For 3 days pilgrims on A Walk to Emmaus are immersed in a deeply spiritual experience. They leave the outside world behind and time has no meaning as they talk about their faith, sing and celebrate Christ. Each time they go back to the dorm a small gift is on their bed. It could be anything from a remembrance rock to a candy bar and everything in between. All of the gifts have either a bible verse or a saying to help them remember the spiritual connection they are making. By the end of George’s walk he had received enough agape to cover a child’s card table. He said that going back and finding these little gifts helped as he went on this journey.
