Great Mamaw Ruby was so thrilled that my sons came to visit her while Nicholas was in for my Mother's funeral in 2008. Great Mammaw and my Mother had grown quite close over the years, and she was saddened not to be able to attend the funeral but seeing the boys, and knowing we were all thinking of her gave her great comfort.
