What it says:
My father called her the Big Swede. She was married to the man my father was named after. Together they helped raise him. She, of course, is my great grandmother.

I have tried to research her genealogy, but have been unable to locate any concreret facts. Some say she was born in Sweden and immigrated here, others say that she was board in Mississippi. But everyone agrees that her heritage and HISTORY is Swedish. She died before I was born so the only MEMORY I have of her is what my dad called her.

I would love to learn more about her heritage and the land from whence her PEOPLE came. Maybe one day I will be fortunate to find out exactly what area of Sweden her family originated from and travel to discover how they lived, food they ate, hobbies, occupations. And maybe I'll discover why they immigrated.
