I scrap because it’s the only time I feel challenged and artistic. It’s the only time I feel like I’m learning something and using my brain for something that’s actually interesting. I love to see what “my” designers have created. I’m awed by the way other scrappers use these tools to create such works of art. Sometimes I look at my pages and think they are just terrible. Other times, I feel like I’ve really captured the moment, the feelings and emotions, that I want to remember and convey to my children. They are why I scrap. Because I just can’t seem to remember things like I wish I could and I want them to look at the pages and remember... and feel the love that their mom felt when she created that page just for them.
