Journaling:
My life as envisioned at various ages and stages changed, of course. As a little girl I thought it would be great to be a “lady marine” which was a sore spot with my father, an Air Force pilot. Chalk that up to Audie Murphy movies.
In college, I dreamed of a career as a Psychologist, and eventually made good on that one, working for a number of years in that field.
When I got married and then had children, my life changed and I put that career on hold to raise a family. That was rewarding and fulfilling in its own way, though I eventually needed a different outlet, and a supplemental income for the family, so I went to work as an assistant to a real estate agent for several years. That led me to my long-term free lance business in graphic design and desktop publishing, which I pursued until my recent retirement.
My return to family life with a granddaughter to spoil and love has brought my life full circle. I feel I have been able to accomplish my goals along the way, and have grown with each new step and each challenge. Life’s never quite as simplistic as we see it in our youth., and most people eventually change careers and life paths these days.

I used the GottaPixel collab Spring Breeze by Armina Designs, Creations by Rachel, Cherie Shields, and Spinky Dink Scraps, plus an additional flower (Spinky Dink Scraps, Time Flies) and button (Sherry Ferguson, Sprout).
