Journaling: After dropping the little ones off today at school, an overwhelming wave of emotion hit me. My eyes burned as I tried to hold in the tears that inevitably began to flow. I wasn’t sad or worried or particularly happy. It was a normal morning and my feelings just could not be explained.

Perhaps it was just a random sign of my humanity and offered me yet another glimpse into the blessings in my life and the Glory of a God that allows them.

Maybe it was just those silly x chromosomes. I don’t know. But I pulled out of the school content, if not a bit confused by my emotion.

My love is deep for my family, and I know that yours, Lord, is deeper still. Thanks you for that.
