...how to make ice cream at home the Jeni’s way. Jeni Britton Bauer of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams gave a demonstration-lecture at Sur La Table on Feb. 3. This is the second time I’ve taken her class, but I wanted my sister to have the experience, too. After she and I spent a week in San Jose at the National Figure Skating Competition, she spent an additional week in Columbus, visiting my mother and me. In this class, we sampled White Chocolate and Rose Petal Ice Cream with Almonds, Orange Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate Chunks, and Hot Fudge Sundaes with homemade fudge sauce. Yummy!
