Shih Tzu
I used all 6 colors in my layout. Journaling reads: SHIH TZU One of several "lion dogs" developed by Buddhist monks in China to be the special pets of the Emperor. They were the favored dogs of the Manchu dynasty in the middle of the 19th century. Some found their way to England in the 1930's and to the U.S. after WWII. They were recognized by the AKC in 1969.

May-Ling O'Leary was named in honor of my first two Shih Tzus, Ling-Ti and Mandy Ming-Ti. I added the "O'Leary" when I found out she was born on St. Patrick's Day. I joke that I went all the way to "The Orient" to get her. She was born in Oreint, Ohio. I brought her home on Mother's Day that year. And I was lucky enough to take seven weeks vacation from work to be with her those first critical days.
The photo corner design is actually ML duplicated and one set flipped and put together, a technique I learned on another website.
