Sorry if this brings anyone down. But I usually think about him alot this time of year. Especially on his birthday. Some people think i am nuts when i bring a birthday card to a cemetary. But oh well. That is my way of coping. I miss him dearly. There will always be a spot in my heart for you. That could never be replaced. It is a special spot. Even though I had three children after you. That doesnt mean I should forget you and never will.

This was on my mind today as well. I can never imagine what that must have felt like. I hope doing this layout helped a little bit today.

I was intrigued from the thumbnail with all the text so decided to look at this LO. Oh, my, I am just in awe of how sweet and moving your journaling is. I like the font you selected because it looks like handwriting to make it even more personal. I hope doing this LO brings some comfort to you this day.

This LO breaks my heart. I feel your sadness. time does not change our love or connection. Grief is a part of us. I hope, by doing what you do that is brings you some comfort. I know loss as well. We never forget and there is always some pain no matter how well we do in living. I have 3 siblings waiting in Gods memory.

You're not mad - we do it too. We lost our niece ten years ago in the same way and we still celebrate her birthday every year. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

From another mom who takes cards to the gravesite also this lo really touches my heart. As tears are streaming I can almost feel like I am there with you and understand so well. ((((hugs)))) and I hope that making the lo helped you with some of the feelings and brings comfort.

Thankyou so much for pointing out this beautiful tribute page to your son. I can't imagine not being able to take photos or footprints as I look at mine everyday but it must make that one special picture in your memory so special. My husband and I take cards down to the cemetary on Mother's Day/Father's Day and Ella and James' birthdays. and although people think I am strange, when they ask if I have children, I say "yes, I have two beautiful angel babies". I'm so sorry for your loss.

I think it's a wonderful thing to bring flowers and cards to the cemetery -- shame on those people who would think this is strange. I pray for you and your family for your losses.

Your layout and journaling are beautiful. God gave you such a special gift and there is nothing strange about remembering your gift every day. As you said so beautifully, just because you didn't get to keep your little angel, doesn't mean he never existed. And just because much time has passed and you had more children, doesn't mean that his special little place in your heart got forgotton. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
