I love the imagination of children. It is so pure and innocent, and perfect. Shaylee was playing with her playdoh one day when she came up to me and let me know that she had made me. I looked at her creation and started to giggle. This is the first time she had ever made something out of her playdoh that you could actually see as being “real”. She pointed out the eyes, and the arms, and let me know that she included my big pregnant tummy! I, naturally, grabbed the camera and took a picture of her masterpiece. We tried to keep the playdoh version of me, but eventually my eyes fell off, and then one arm came off and it was a lost cause. Playdoh me was just not meant to be! Never stifle the imagination of a child. Let it grow, let it blossom, encourage it and cherish it, because we are only young once, and life is to short!
