A Tribute to Zoe

Sarah and I just found out last week that our furry baby, Zoe, is dying of untreatable Lung and Abdominal Cancer. I guess I've been in denial, even with administering her IV fluids & IV meds daily... just glad I have these days left with her. This is in tribute to her, and her two "sisters" that we lost very recently to a Pit Bull. Thank you for looking.

I had to look at this one - cats! It's very sad reading. Zoe looks so well with her shiny fur. I've always had cats around. We are down to 5 now! having lost quite a few in fairly quick succession with being run over, eye tumour, kidney disease, & I feel for you as well, as a couple of dogs ran through our place one time & took our old tabby who was a bit deaf & wouldn't have heard them coming. Your pets have obviously been well loved and cared for. I'm just sorry you have this to face now. It's a very pretty layout & I like your frames & the colour gradations.

Thank you so much, and I'm terribly sorry to hear of your own losses too -- it is just so painful when it happens. We usually have an ongoing average of three cats, my baby Lexi (boxer dog) couple of cockatiels, fish and a snake even. We're mega animal lovers. THis is the first time in so long I can't remember we are down to just one, our Siamese Zoe. My younger daughter hasn't been ready emontionally to adopt new ones to replace the two the pit bull killed 3 months ago till just this week she is saying she thinks she's ready.

Thank you for the kind words -- yep, our animals are our babies and they do have a great life with us (smilin' warmly at the comments from offline friends who tell me all the time that when they die they want to come back as one of my pets). I also want to thank you for the sweet comments on my lo.. it is very much appreciated and again I am so sorry for your own losses too. It can be really rough, I know.

Love the pictures of your kitties! Zoe reminds me of a kitty named Honey I had in high school. She was a Siamese and slightly cross-eyed. I miss her.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Our pets become so much a part of our family. Your LO is a gorgeous tribute.

Ohhh Mary Lynn, I am so sorry to hear about your kitties!! I understand how hard it is, we still have not replaced our "Whitey" yet. Hang in there, you certainly have had more than your share of bad things. Good wishes for this new year. If you need a shoulder or an ear, you know where to find me! Beautiful page...

I am so sorry to hear that your beautiful Zoe is not well. I too am loosing a sweet furbaby to to kidney disease. So here is a hug to you and one for Zoe. She is beautiful and her layout is gorgeous.
