This is my step-nephew at the Australia Day parade last year. The kids had a ball with Aussie flag temporary tatoos and little flags to wave. Tomorrow it's Australia Day once more and time to reflect on what makes this country great and spend time with family. My hope for the future is that one day we can look past all the differences and start looking at our sames instead. That is a day I hope to see in my lifetime.
