Every time I drove by this tree on the corner, I was taken by its beauty as the leaves became a brilliant red. On several occasions, I planned to take a photograph and was always thwarted in my efforts by this or that. Finally, one afternoon, I informed my husband that we were taking a family walk to take a photo of this tree. His reply, why don’t you go and I’ll watch the girls. I insisted that he come and when we arrived he said, something like “Wow, this is beautiful. I hadn’t noticed it before. although he drove right past this tree at least twice a day, he hadn’t noticed the beautiful colors or any of the changing colors for that matter. It was funny to me how after this experience, he started pointing out the autumn colors to me as we drove. When I told one of my girlfriends about this experience she new exactly what tree I was talking about. I have especially loved watching Autumn arrive this year!
