This looks like it would have been in the middle of winter . But it was only the second day of elk hunting in Colorado. Which was Oct. 21st. They woke up to four inches of snow. I am glad they were there because it was nice and warm here. They said they had seen enough snow already. Still nothing here sorry guys still got this too look forward to here in Nebraska unfortunately. They didnt bring anything home but sore bones from all the walking. And it isnt a good hunt when there is a full moon. The elk dont move the same way they do when the moon is in its first stages of changing.
