Journaling: 6 + 2 = 3 - that’s figure skating math and music to the ears of Ross Miner. Skating for the first time at the Senior level (he had to withdraw in 2010 due to an injury), Ross Miner scored an unimpressive 6th place in the short program. Instead of being discouraged, Miner focused on executing a clean long program. He skated to a personal best, 156.36, and 2nd place to beat out defending champion Jeremy Abbott for 3rd place overall by just .19 points.
